At about 1:40 EDT this afternoon, an earthquake was felt around Caledonia County…from Sutton down to St. Johnsbury. Monitors, chairs moving in the radio studio.

6:00 PM update- It was a 5.0 magnitude earthquake and the epicenter was actually quite far away, just north of Ottawa on the Quebec border.  Best info is at cbc.ca.  If you were anywhere in the Northeast U.S., Ontario or Quebec, odds are the earth might have moved for you too…
