Back in the NEK

Jennifer Hartswick left Sheffield, her hometown, eleven years ago.  She graduated from Lyndon Institute, headed to New York City, spent a couple of years at the Hartt School of Music at the University of Hartford and lives now in Chicago.

She plays trumpet, she sings, she mixes jazz, funk, soul and other genres and brings her talent and her band to Lyndon Institute on  Wednesday night.  She’ll spend the day with the L.I. Jazz Band, teaching, playing, answering questions, and then at 7:00, the LI Band will do a set and then Jennifer and her quartet hit the stage.  Tickets are just $10, $5 for students.
