BREAKING NEWS: Police Say Man Shoots Daughter

A Northeast Kingdom man is being held on 300-thousand dollars bail for allegedly shooting his daughter in the abdomen last night. 53-year-old David Holmes of Jay is being charged with attempted murder. Police say Holmes assaulted and shot 24-year-old Heather Mayhew with a 30-06 rifle following an argument at Mayhew’s home on Route-242 in Troy. [...]
