Former Lyndon Town Administrator David Dill will be Vermont’s next secretary of transportation. Dill – the current deputy secretary at the agency – will replace his boss Neale Lunderville sometime this summer. Dill was Lyndon’s first professional manager and still lives in town. Forty-two cents

The price of a U.S. postage went up yesterday, from forty-one to forty-two cents. BUT…so did the cool factor, as the USPS unveiled their new forty-two cent stamp featuring Frank Sinatra. The Lyndon Town School Jazz Band returned from their competition in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania with TWO trophies and a large medal.
